Hi girls. Scotty is planning to come back to play in June and Junior in July. We'll have to wait and see how their rehab goes, but it's promising that they intend to return during the regular season. While they're gone, I think some other guys will step up. Shawn's having a great year in pro and I hear he's the fittest he's ever been. I expect Josh Wasson and Josh Gillam to both make major contributions. It would certainly help if Dan Carey can play again and can be his old self, and having Jason Clark back helps on the offense. He was scoring well playing the last three games of the year with the Toronto Rock. A lot of ifs where the Lakers have been used to knowing they'll have a strong offense, but I think they'll be okay. The defense will be excellent again and it sounds like Patty will be here, which would be great for the team given what a terrific year he's had in the NLL.
Brampton will be strong again--an incredible wealth of offense, very strong defense and arguably the best goalie in lacrosse in Cosmo.
It's hard to say what will happen with St. Regis and Six Nations now that Daris Kilgour has moved from the former to the latter. Kilgour is a really good coach, and who knows what players will wind up following him from the Indians to the Chiefs. Both teams should be strong.
However things shake out, it should be another great year in MSL.
