Geoff Snider newest Laker |
Lead | |
|
So, the Lakers make another addition. What do you think, Lakermaniacs? Is Snider a good add? Will he make as
much difference as Williams. One things for sure, the Lakers and Excelsiors are taking different paths to putting together a championship team. Which will
work? Can either of them beat Six Nations? Stay tuned...

Sorry just checked the Examiner. Had heard he wanted to play here or Brampton. He should be in good shape from playing with the Nationals.

Saw Snider play last Saturday night with Nats. I think Wasson and Allen do a very good job on the draws. He will add toughness. It seems like Welsh's
punches seem to be very short(lacking power). This is only an observation from seeing his fights on Youtube. Welsh doesn't seem to be the stand back and
load up kind of thrower.
Williams with Brampton scares me. I hope JR and Scotty can return. Nick Cotter has been a joy to watch this year. He certainly has given Carey a rest from ragging the ball on PK's. |

Lakermaniacs are in for a real treat to be able to watch this Snider play lacrosse here. This guy is tough as nails and is amazing on the draws , likes to score and likes to fight. You couldn't miss him tonight in Whitby, he was in everyone face, loves to twerp and has the skill to back it up. Great pick up for the Lakers!!!! BTW: Lakers 9 Redman 7 After a slow start by the Lakers, losing 4-2 after the first, picked it up in the second.....Brooklin made it interesting with a minute left....getting a late one after the Lakers got a empty netter. I saw a couple good scraps tonight.....Dont know why the Lakers don't wanna fight in front of the 2,200 + home fans? Player of the game was Giles with one goal and 4 helpers. 50/50 was $189.00....attendance is listed at 322.....maybe 322 in the whole sports complex....there was 130 people at the most at the game.
If you don't stand for something, you will fall for anything......

I did some research on Snider, and his numbers in the NLL are unbelievable! He is the best face-off guy in the
league BY FAR! He's also been 2nd, 1st and 1st in Loose Balls in his three years in the league. Nobody but Brodie Merrill is anywhere near him in that
category. Bats said they picked him up in part because he was such a pain in the ass to play against with Coquitlam at the Mann Cup two years ago. That's
always a good sign, when you get a guy cause he's been so tough on you. I think his real importance will be seen after Brad Self leaves for Germany and
the Lakers transition game doesn't lose too much.

He didn't make much of an impact at all. (10)
14 for 23 on faceoffs. A Goal and an Assist. And Tim O'Brien sat down like a broken dog when he dropped the gloves. I don't care what anyone says about Williams. Nice pick up Bats.

I think (I hope) that O'Toole Fan's post was made tongue in cheek. Snider had a big impact and will have a bigger one as he adjusts to
the Lakers and the league. It's pretty remarkable, really, that he flew in from Calgary on Wednesday, went to Brooklin that night then played the next
night against Six Nations, and did as well as he did. I'll tell you one thing, the rest of the guys on the team are absolutely thrilled to have him in the
lineup.

Yes, that is what the (10) is for. Rated ten on the sarcasm scale. He played a great game. I would have liked to see him drop O'Brien though.

Just check him out on U Tube he dosent lose too many fights, in fact I don't think he lost any. He is bulldog. I don't know why there hasn't been a fight at the Mem Centre this year. The NNL and MSL are turning into the NHL where nobody fights anymore. Tell you one thing not too many players want to dance with Snider. Lacrosittute |
